Help & Support

How can we help?

Quick answers to the questions we hear most. If you can't find yours, we're a message away.

For visitors

Joining queues, waiting and getting notified.

How do I join a queue?

Find an institution on the Discover tab, or scan the QR code on its counter, then open it and choose a counter. Sign in (or create a free account) if you haven't already, tap Join Queue, enter your name (and phone number if you like), and you'll get a token with your live position.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free account is needed to join a queue or book. It takes under a minute, you can sign in with Google, and it lets you follow your position live, get notified when your turn is near, and keep your visit history and favourites.

How will I know it's my turn?

Your position updates live on screen, and we send a notification when you are close to the front and when you're next. Allow notifications when asked, and keep your phone's sound on.

How accurate is the estimated wait?

It's an estimate: the number of people ahead of you multiplied by the counter's average service time. It changes as the queue moves, so treat it as a guide, not a promise.

What do Open, Closed and Paused mean?

Open means the institution is accepting visitors. Closed means it isn't. Paused means a counter has temporarily stopped issuing new tokens, usually for a short break.

Can I leave a queue or cancel?

Yes. Open your token under My Queue and choose to cancel it. That frees your place for the next person.

Can I book an appointment for another day?

Some counters accept future bookings. If you see a Book Appointment button, choose a date and time slot. Counters that only take walk-ins won't show it.

How do I save a favourite?

Open an institution and tap Save. Everything you save appears on the Favourites tab, with its live queue. Tap the red heart there to remove it.

How do I change the language?

Tap the globe icon at the top right of any screen and pick English, Hindi, Tamil or Malayalam.

Account and sign-in

Signing in, passwords and your details.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes. Choose Continue with Google on the sign-in or sign-up screen. Google accounts don't have a CallMeNext password, and your email is managed by Google.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password?, enter your email, and we'll send you a link to set a new one. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

How do I change my email, password, name or phone number?

Go to Profile. Use Edit Profile for your name and phone number, and the Account section for your email and password.

I didn't get my confirmation email.

Check your spam folder first. On the sign-in screen you can resend the confirmation email. If it still doesn't arrive, contact us and we'll help.

I'm not getting notifications.

Make sure notifications are allowed for CallMeNext in your device or browser settings, that Do Not Disturb is off, and that you're still in the queue.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to My Account, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You're signed out straight away and your account is permanently deleted 30 days later; sign in again before then to cancel. Full details are on our Delete your account page (callmenext.app/delete-account).

For institutions

Setting up and running your queue.

How do I register my institution?

Sign in, open Profile, and tap Register your institution. The setup takes you through your details, queue type, opening hours, logo and photos, and going live.

What's the difference between walk-in, time slots and appointments?

Walk-in queues give people a token when they arrive. Time slots let them pick an exact time. Appointments let them book a future date. You set a default for the institution and each counter can override it.

How do I add counters and staff?

In the staff dashboard, add counters under Counters, then invite people by email under Staff. Each person gets a role that decides what they can do.

How do I go live?

Finish setup and add at least one counter, then switch your institution to Open from the dashboard. Visitors can only join while you are open.

How do visitors find me, and can I put up a QR code?

Visitors find you through Discover and search. Each institution and counter also has a QR code and share link in the dashboard settings that you can print or display.

Can I show the queue on a waiting-room screen?

Yes. The kiosk display is a full-screen page for a TV or monitor that shows the current token. It opens from a link and needs no sign-in.

I have more than one location.

Add each as a branch from the Branches page. Switch between your institutions from the institution name at the top of the dashboard menu.

How do I set opening hours and holidays?

Set institution-wide hours under Settings → Working Hours. Counters can have their own shifts, working days and holidays in their settings.

Can't find your answer?

Email us and tell us what you were trying to do. Including the institution name and what you saw on screen helps us fix things faster.
